SEC EDGAR filings by ticker or CIK
Returns SEC EDGAR filings for US listed companies by ticker or CIK, one row per filing with form type, filing and report dates, 8-K item numbers and direct links to the main document and the filing index.
EDGAR has every annual report, quarterly report and current report that US listed companies file. The SEC publishes the index as JSON, one company at a time. This tool takes a list of up to 200 tickers or CIK numbers and returns their filings as one table.
Choose the form types (10-K, 10-Q, 8-K, 20-F, 6-K, S-1, DEF 14A, 13F-HR and more), a date range and whether amendments should be included. A run with empty input returns the newest 10-K, 10-Q and 8-K filings for Apple and Microsoft from the last 365 days.

}What people use it for
- Watchlist monitoring. A daily run over your tickers with
onlyNewset to true returns only filings made since the last run. Theitemsfield tells an earnings release (2.02) from a change of directors (5.02). - Collecting reports for analysis. Get the links to every 10-K and 10-Q for a list of companies and pass them to the next step that downloads and parses the documents.
- Research datasets. Filing dates, report periods and form types for many companies in one table, ready for a notebook or a spreadsheet.
Price
2 USD per 1 000 filings, plus Apify platform usage.
A run with the default input returns at most 50 filings, so it costs at most 0.10 USD in results. On 3 October 2026 it returned 25 filings, which is 0.05 USD. maxResults caps every run, and platform usage for a run of this size is a fraction of a cent.
Run it on a schedule
Set onlyNew to true and add the actor to a schedule in Apify Console (for example the cron expression 0 7 * * * for 07:00 every day). The actor remembers what it has already delivered for the same input, in a named key-value store in your own Apify account (nightwave-state-sec-edgar-filings), and each run returns and charges only what is new. The first run returns everything in the selection. A run with nothing new finishes with 0 rows and costs nothing beyond platform usage.
Source and license
The data comes from the SEC's public EDGAR APIs. No API key is needed. The tool follows the SEC's rules for automated access: at most 8 requests per second and a User-Agent that says who is asking. It is not affiliated with or endorsed by the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission.
Information published by the SEC is U.S. federal government information and is not subject to copyright in the United States (17 U.S.C. § 105). The filed documents are written by the companies; the tool returns only the index data that EDGAR publishes about them. Every row carries source and license.
Try it
The tool runs on Apify. Apify handles your account, the runs and the payment, and you can try it with the input above before you schedule anything.
