US federal contracts from USAspending.gov
Returns US federal government contracts from USAspending.gov, one row per contract with the contractor and its UEI, the awarding agency and office, the amount, start and end dates, NAICS and PSC codes, place of performance and a link to the award page.
USAspending.gov is the official source for federal spending data, run by the U.S. Department of the Treasury. The tool covers contracts (BPA calls, purchase orders, delivery orders and definitive contracts) from fiscal year 2008 until today. Choose a date range and any mix of keyword, recipient, awarding agency, NAICS code, PSC code, state and amount. A contract is returned when it has an action (a new award, a modification or an obligation) dated inside the range, largest award amount first.
A run with empty input returns the 50 largest contracts with activity in the last 30 days. Amounts are obligations, money the government has committed, and they change as agencies modify contracts. Department of Defense contracts are published with a delay of about 90 days. Grants, loans and other financial assistance are not included.

onlyNewset to true returns only contract activity that is new since the day before.
Price
2 USD per 1 000 contracts, plus Apify platform usage.
A run with the default input returns at most 50 contracts, so it costs at most 0.10 USD in results. The run on 6 October 2026 shown above returned 50 contracts in under 5 seconds, which is 0.10 USD. maxResults caps every run.
Run it on a schedule
Set onlyNew to true and add the actor to a schedule in Apify Console (for example the cron expression 0 7 * * * for 07:00 every day). The actor remembers what it has already delivered for the same input, in a named key-value store in your own Apify account (nightwave-state-usaspending-federal-contracts), and each run returns and charges only what is new. The first run returns everything in the selection. A run with nothing new finishes with 0 rows and costs nothing beyond platform usage.
Source and license
The data comes from the public USAspending API v2: the award search and, with includeDetails, the award detail record. No API key is needed. The tool sends at most 2 requests per second. It is not affiliated with or endorsed by USAspending.gov or the U.S. Department of the Treasury.
Information published by the federal government is not subject to copyright in the United States (17 U.S.C. § 105). USAspending.gov is run under the DATA Act and its spending data is open to the public. Every row carries source and license so you can credit USAspending.gov.
