What it does.
Kolada holds about 5 800 KPIs (nyckeltal) on population, tax rates, school results, elderly care, social services, costs, environment and more, collected from SCB, Skolverket, Socialstyrelsen and other agencies. Find KPIs by a word in the Swedish title, such as skattesats or äldreomsorg, or give their ids, and name areas the way you write them: Lund, Göteborg, Region Skåne or Sverige.
Without years the tool takes the latest year with data for each KPI. KPI titles and area names are in Swedish, as Kolada publishes them; field names are in English. A run with empty input returns the population per municipality for the latest year. The sample below is the municipal tax rate for 2025 in Stockholm, Malmö, Lund and Göteborg, from a run on 5 October 2026.

A run with the default input returns 50 rows, which is 0.05 USD. The run on 5 October 2026 shown above returned 38 rows in about 6 seconds, 0.04 USD. maxResults caps every run (default 50), empty values are never charged, and platform usage is included in the price.
Run it on a schedule.
Ask for new rows only
SetonlyNewtotrue. The actor remembers what it has already delivered for the same input, in a named key-value store in your own Apify account (nightwave-state-kolada-municipal-kpis).Add a schedule
Add the actor to a schedule in Apify Console, for example with the cron expression0 7 * * *for 07:00 every day.Get what is new
The first run returns everything in the selection. After that, each run returns and charges only what is new. A run with nothing new finishes with 0 rows and costs nothing.

The data comes from the Kolada API v3 (api.kolada.se/v3), run by RKA, a non-profit association whose members are the Swedish state and Sveriges Kommuner och Regioner (SKR). No key is needed. The tool passes the values on unchanged. It is made by Nightwave AB and is not affiliated with or endorsed by RKA or Kolada.
Kolada's terms of use say that data from the API is free of charge, needs no agreement and may be used commercially. A service that uses the data must credit the source as "Källa: Kolada", and figures you have processed yourself may not name Kolada as their source. Every row carries the credit in source.
