What it does.
Choose zones (NO1 Oslo, NO2 Kristiansand, NO3 Trondheim, NO4 Tromsø, NO5 Bergen, DK1 Western Denmark, DK2 Copenhagen), a date range back to 1 December 2021, and hourly or 15 minute prices. Norway is hourly only, since the source publishes one price per hour, and Denmark has 15 minute prices from 1 October 2025. Tomorrow's prices are published after about 13:00 CET. The rows have the same format as the Sweden Electricity Prices tool, so Norwegian, Danish and Swedish zones can be mixed in one dataset.
The prices are the wholesale spot price only, without VAT, taxes, grid fees, supplier mark-ups or the Norwegian electricity support. A run with empty input returns today's prices for the first zones in the list, NO1 and NO2, until it reaches 50 rows. The sample below is the 15 minute prices for DK2 on 4 October 2026, from a run for DK2 and NO5 that returned 96 quarter prices for DK2, 24 hourly prices for NO5 and a summary row for each.

}What a run costs
A run with the default input returns 50 rows, which is 0.10 USD. The run on 3 October 2026 shown above asked for the next day in DK2 and NO5 and returned 122 rows in about 6 seconds, which is 0.24 USD. All seven zones for one day at hourly resolution with summaries are 175 rows, or 0.35 USD. maxResults caps every run (default 50), and platform usage is included in the price.

Norwegian prices come from Hva koster strømmen.no and Danish prices from Energi Data Service by Energinet, which publishes them per MWh; the tool converts them to per kWh. Finland is not included, since no open source without an API key and with terms that clearly allow commercial reuse was found. The tool is not affiliated with Hva koster strømmen.no, Energinet, Nord Pool or ENTSO-E.
According to Hva koster strømmen.no the data is freely available to anyone for any purpose, and the source asks for the credit "Strømpriser levert av Hva koster strømmen.no" with a link when the data is shown publicly. Energi Data Service publishes under CC BY 4.0, which allows commercial use with the credit "Source: Energinet (www.energidataservice.dk)". The data contains no personal data.
