What it does.
Each authority publishes recalls in its own place and format. The tool reads all three, newest first, and when maxResults cuts the list the sources take turns, so 50 results from five lists give about 10 from each. Filter by source, keywords in the product, brand, model, barcode and firm, category, country and publication date.
A run with empty input returns the 50 newest recalls from the last 30 days. Contact names, phone numbers and e-mail addresses in the notices are not returned. The sample below is the daily check on 10 October 2026, which asked for 3 recalls and got one each from Safety Gate, CPSC and the FDA drug reports.

}What a run costs
A run with the default input returns at most 50 recalls, so it costs at most 0.25 USD. The run with empty input on 7 October 2026 returned 50 recalls in about 11 seconds, which is 0.25 USD, and the daily check shown above returned 3, 0.015 USD. A run without matches costs nothing per recall, and platform usage is included in the price.

The first run returns everything in the selection. After that, each run returns and charges only what is new. A run with nothing new finishes with 0 rows and costs nothing.
Source and license.
The rows come from the CPSC Recalls API, the openFDA enforcement reports for food, drugs and devices and the Safety Gate weekly reports of the European Commission. None of them needs a key. Product photos are linked, not copied. The rows repeat what the authorities publish and are not medical, legal or safety advice. The tool is not affiliated with or endorsed by CPSC, FDA or the European Commission.
CPSC writes that its recall information is publicly available to consumers, businesses and developers. The openFDA terms make the data public domain under CC0 1.0. The European data portal lists the Safety Gate weekly reports under CC0 1.0, and the rest of the Safety Gate site falls under Commission Decision 2011/833/EU, which allows reuse with the source acknowledged. Every row carries license.
